This was a topic that was interesting to me and thought it would be interesting to other members of the moose. I should have understood that there are avid hunters out there that would love to have the chance to go moose hunting. I have no issue with hunting, or moose hunting. My only issue is that the Michigan Moose has donated thousands of dollars to help study and help rebuild the herd in Michigan. So I shot from the hip and sent out the e-mail.

I have since read up on this, and presently it is a Senate Bill that was introduced asking the DNR to do a study of the availability of opening the hunt of moose in Michigan and that is all it is so far. I still encourage you to let your representative know how you feel pro or con.

Again, thank you for all you do for children at Mooseheart, and seniors at Moosehaven.

Sean

Sparta Moose
